A reminder to students and staff that final exams are, in fact, beginning today, as current Grade 11 students are writing Part 1 of their exam. Please be aware in classrooms and in the hallways that there are many folks writing exams today. Thank you for keeping the noise level down!
Final pre-orders for the yearbook must be made today by lunch. Be sure to stop by the office with your payment of $55 to purchase your book for tomorrow’s Celebrations Day. If you have pre-ordered a yearbook, you can pick up your book in the NEW GYM tomorrow between 8am – 9am. We will close distribution during class hours and reopen from 12pm – 2pm.
If you did not pre-order a yearbook, you are still able to purchase the book tomorrow from Mona in the library during the same times.
Don’t forget to download the Aurasma App and follow spectrumyearbook2017. There are lots of videos added into the yearbook! Our yearbook staff is very excited to show you what we’ve been working on all year! See you tomorrow!
GRADS: our absolute final deadline for payment of dinner dance and dry grad tickets and turning in forms is tomorrow. See Shauna for questions or concerns.
Also for grads, extra tickets for the ceremony are available starting today at 2 per student at a cost of $5 per ticket. Call UVic to order them.
One last reminder for grads – your table seating forms are due tomorrow as well. Please get these turned in to Shauna in the office by tomorrow.
The cafeteria is closed now, but there will be Pizza available in the Mall Store at Lunch today. Just $2 a slice. Pop and ice cream treats will also be available. 50% of the profits will go to the Cops for Cancer Campaign.
Tomorrow is Celebrations Day. There will be mini carnival games, organized by the Social Justice class. Play by donations; all proceeds will go to the Threshold Housing Society. Come, play games, hang with friends and win little prizes. See you there!
