Spectrum’s Dodgeball Championship and fundraiser for Cops for Cancer will kick off Thursday 24th May in the Old Gym. Each team will need 10 participants & a $10 entry fee which goes towards our 2018-19 Cops for Cancer fundraising. You also have a chance to win a SIC (spectrum intramural Champion) t-shirt. There will be a brief but mandatory meeting in room 160 at the start of lunch.

The Cops for Cancer/Tour de Rock Team Announcement is happening here at Spectrum on Friday, May 25th. There will be a BBQ hot dog sale, an assembly and a car wash! Be sure to bring your money to support this amazing cause! Keep listening to announcements for more information. Also, a surprise teacher will shave his or her head…along with their son or daughter. Be sure to bring your change to donate to the cause.

Looking for Collaboration Peer Tutors: Are you interested in being a peer tutor during collaboration next year?  Students get 4 credits for Peer Tutoring.  We’re looking for grade 10 and 11 students who want to help lead Kahoots and activities in the collab pod rooms.  We also need specialty tutors who can help students with their academic subjects in the specialty rooms.  Pick up applications in the main office, and return to Ms Porter’s mailbox in the office by Monday, May 28.

Performing Arts:  Graduates from the Canadian College of Performing Arts who have performed in an alumni production of “Avenue Q” will be here Wednesday morning conducting a puppetry workshop and talking about careers in the performing arts.  Students interested in joining in see or email Mr. Barss today to sign up.  The workshop will run in period 1 and again in period 2 Wednesday morning.

Grads: Tickets to the Grad Ceremony at UVic became available as of today! There are still about 50 of you who have not paid fees or completed your GTP.  You will need to do this before tickets will be released in your name.  See Shauna in the Office to check your status.

Grads: Tickets for the Dinner Dance and Dry Grad are on sale now until June 7th.  Guest forms are available and must be handed in by June 1st. See Shauna for forms and to pay for the tickets.
