Okay football fans! There is still two days to bring your toonie to your D block class and “buy” your class’s way to the football game happening this Friday! All proceeds go to our Cops for Cancer campaign. Your class needs to raise a minimum of $50 to participate.

Today at lunch the Outdoor Rec class will do a push up for every dollar brought to them! All money raised goes towards Cops for Cancer. Bring your loonies, the class is ready to WORK!

Grade 11 and 12 students – are you interested in a career as a fire fighter?  Pender Island Fire Department is hosting their Gulf Island Fire/Rescue Youth Camp during spring break.  It’s a one week intensive program where you learn the basics of firefighting, first aid, search and rescue and rope rescue. Cost is $200.  If you are interested, talk to Ms. Condie for details and to register.  Deadline is November 6.

Grads – we will be having an assembly tomorrow during Period C – you will be called down.  If you haven’t joined the Google Classroom yet,  you will need to so you can vote for the grad logo.  You must be logged in with your SD61 account.  Anyone logged in with a regular email does not have full access and will be removed by Friday.
