Musical Theatre Production

Our 2022 Musical Theatre Program production is “Curtains”. Nominated for 8 Tony Awards and Winner of Best Actor in a Leading Role for David Hyde Pierce, this is a unique blend of comedy, crime thriller, and musical that will keep you second-guessing who has been killing off members of a local community theatre in late 1950’s Boston with dreams of taking their show to Broadway. The theatre is locked down by detective Lieutenant Frank Cioffi when their leading lady dies at the opening night curtain call. No one is allowed to leave until the case is solved, including you the audience!

“Curtains” runs March 4th & 5th, 11th & 12th @ 7:30 p.m., and March 13th @ 2:00 p.m. Reserve your tickets online here: Eventbrite or by emailing Rene @ rschwarz@sd61.bc.ca .

If you are allowed to attend in-person, please bring cash to the door ($15/adult, $10/student or senior). You may be required to wear a mask, bring proof of vaccination, and sit in physically distanced family groups.
Should current district health regulations remain in place, you will be emailed a link to attend the show remotely from your home along with a donation link. In this instance, we will set up screens in our theatre so that you will be seen and heard by the performers on stage. You will be a virtual live audience!
The show will go on regardless while following district health guidelines. Thank you for supporting our musical theatre program. We look forward to seeing you!
