Students living in Spectrum’s catchment area may be eligible for transportation services if they reside beyond the designated walk limit of 4.8 kms (3 miles). New students and returning students must complete a school bus application form each school year. Forms can be dropped off at the office. If you have any questions, please call the school 250 479 8271.

- SD61 currently provides regular bussing service (Garden City Transportation or BC Transit Passes) to the following schools: Spectrum, Esquimalt, Shoreline, Colquitz, View Royal, and Eagle View based on School District walk limits. Students must be attending their catchment school to be eligible for SD transportation.
- Special Needs Bussing (Thirdwave Bus Services and BC Transit) services students with an IEP detailing a permanent physical or cognitive disability that necessitates the need for transportation at any school location. New riders or current riders who are moving to another school must attend their catchment school (Victor students excluded).
- Schools or Parents can contact the Transportation Dept. directly at transportation@sd61.bc.ca if they have new students or newly designated students after the close of the on-line application process. Otherwise we are expecting to receive applications by the deadline date.
