Tired of complaining to your teachers about how hot it is in the school? To help you cool down, the philanthropy Club will be selling ice cream in the foyer tomorrow at lunch. Bring your change. Don’t scream about the heat, scream for ice cream!

A notice: the cafeteria will be closed on Friday, May 25th.  There will be alternate options that day.

Grads – there are still several of you that have not paid your grad fees or gown rental fee or have completed your GTP.  These are all now very late and need to be taken care of this week.  Check the list outside of the office.  If your name is not there, see Shauna in the Office to see what you are missing. Tickets for the Ceremony at UVic become available on Monday, May 22 – get these things taken care of so we can give your name to UVic and you will be eligible to pick up your tickets.

It’s not too late to order your yearbook. Just $45 dollars at the office or online through the school’s website. Celebrations Day isn’t the same without your own yearbook.

Come to our Every Last Drop workshop in Theatre, Period 1 on Tuesday, May 29. This is a fun, interactive, informative, unbiased workshop, and we’d LOVE to have you join us!

The Cops for Cancer/Tour de Rock Team Announcement will happen here at Spectrum next Friday, May 25th. There will be a BBQ hot dog sale, an assembly and a car wash! Be sure to bring your money to support this amazing cause! Keep listening to announcements for more information.

Creative Writing Club: Meets every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch, RM 305. This week’s theme: Bring your characters to life!

For grade 11 students – there will be Numeracy Assessment prep during Collaboration each week in room 317.

Aboriginal Nations Education Student – there are Grade 12 scholarships of $500, $1,000 and $1,600 which you can apply for. There are also Grade 10 Bursary Awards of $150 available from the Aboriginal Nations Education. The application deadline is this Friday, May 18th. Interested students see Ms Milliken and/or Counsellor Paul Thomas as soon as possible.
